Plans, prices and paid results
omotto’s results plans combine a monthly plan price with fees for results. Each plan includes conversations, automation runs and a credit toward result fees. This guide explains what counts and which plan fits your business.
How it works
Section titled “How it works”What each plan includes
Section titled “What each plan includes”All prices below are in US dollars (USD).
| Included each month | Starter | Growth | Scale |
|---|---|---|---|
| Plan price | $59 | $199 | $599 |
| Conversations | 300 | 1,000 | 3,000 |
| Credit toward result fees | $10 | $20 | $40 |
| Automation runs | 1,000 | 5,000 | 20,000 |
| Team members | Up to 2 | Up to 10 | Unlimited |
| Connected channels (lines), across all channels | Up to 4 | Up to 8 | Unlimited |
| Custom API endpoints: connection points to your business systems | Up to 1 endpoint | Up to 10 endpoints | Unlimited endpoints |
| Zapier, Make and n8n connections | Not included | Included | Included |
A channel is a way customers message you, such as WhatsApp or website chat. A line is one connection on that channel. The plan’s connection limit is shared across all channels, not a separate allowance for each type. Every channel type is available on every plan.
Custom connections let omotto work with your own business systems through Custom API. An API is a way for software to talk to other software. An endpoint is one connection point for an operation omotto can call on that system. Looking up a customer’s identity through a Custom API also counts as Custom API use. Zapier, Make and n8n are services that connect different apps.
An automation is a rule that runs an action when something happens. One execution of that rule is called an automation run.
What counts as a conversation
Section titled “What counts as a conversation”For pricing, a conversation is a session on one customer messaging thread. It closes after 48 hours with no messages. A later message after that starts another conversation. You are never charged per message.
A conversation counts toward your included conversations when the customer wrote and omotto replied. It counts in the billing period where that happened.
Conversations count separately on different channels. A customer who contacts you on WhatsApp and on website chat about the same thing uses two of your included conversations, but you pay for one result. The same tracked customer request is charged for a result at most once, in the conversation where it opened.
The result ladder: sale, expert answer, solved, free
Section titled “The result ladder: sale, expert answer, solved, free”A conversation has at most one result fee: the highest result it reached. It is not a fee for every request or action.
| Result | When it counts | Result fee |
|---|---|---|
| Sale | The conversation was about buying and has an attributed order within 7 days. | 2% of the combined eligible order value, at least $0.99 and at most $5 per conversation. |
| Expert answer | An Expert answered or partly answered, and omotto passed the answer to the customer. | $0.99. |
| Solved | omotto served the customer’s request without the team stepping in. | $0.99. |
| No paid result | No sale, expert answer or solved result applies. | No result fee. |
Examples:
- A $60 eligible sale costs $1.20. If the same conversation also had an expert answer, you pay $1.20, not $1.20 plus $0.99.
- A $30 sale would be $0.60 at 2%, so the $0.99 minimum applies and you pay $0.99.
- A $400 sale would be $8 at 2%, so the $5 maximum applies and you pay $5.
- Several eligible orders from one conversation are added together before applying the 2%, minimum and maximum.
A sale means the chat was about buying and an eligible order followed. It is not a claim that the chat caused the order.
Two other Expert cases count at the same $0.99 step. If passing a task to the Expert is the whole job and no reply is owed, it counts once the handoff is delivered and the customer is told. If an Expert’s answer arrives after the customer messaging window has closed, delivery of a WhatsApp template telling the customer an update is ready also counts, even if the customer never replies and the answer itself is not sent.
Bookings, list entries and actions in connected apps do not have a separate result fee. They can contribute to a solved result when omotto did the work without the team stepping in.
What “solved” and “team stepped in” mean
Section titled “What “solved” and “team stepped in” mean”A complete answer can count as solved when the customer goes quiet afterward. Asking questions before giving any answer does not count as solved if the customer leaves at that point. A real request left unanswered does not become solved just because another request was answered. Off-topic requests, such as asking a shop to do homework, do not turn real help into an unanswered request.
The team stepped in when a person replied to the customer, took over to handle the conversation, or answered omotto’s request for team help. A private instruction can still count as solved when the team volunteered it, omotto had not already asked the team for help anywhere in the same ticket, and nobody had taken over when it was given.
Team involvement does not remove a sale or an expert-answer fee. A conversation handled by the team with neither of those results has no result fee.
What is free
Section titled “What is free”You pay no result fee when a conversation ends with:
- no request to solve, such as a greeting, a thank-you or a message that is not a real request;
- a request that nobody answered, including a customer who leaves while omotto is still asking questions before giving any answer;
- a request that the team handled itself, with no sale and no expert answer;
- a spam, trolling or off-topic message.
Free conversations still count toward your included conversations. The plan price and any extra conversations or automation runs are billed as usual.
Extra conversations and automation runs
Section titled “Extra conversations and automation runs”Extra conversations cost $0.40 each on Starter and Growth, or $0.30 each on Scale. For example, 1,150 conversations on Growth is 150 over the 1,000 included, so 150 × $0.40 = $60. Reaching the included conversation allowance does not stop omotto. A conversation with no result fee can still count toward the conversation allowance.
Extra automation runs cost $1 per 1,000 runs, charged in proportion to the number used. For example, 1,700 extra runs cost $1.70.
omotto tells you when you reach 80% of your plan’s included conversations or automation runs (in the app), and again at 100% (in the app and by email). It keeps working either way.
When you are charged
Section titled “When you are charged”Your plan price is billed in advance at the start of each billing period. A period’s result fees, extra conversations and extra automation runs become final 7 days after the period ends. They are then added to your next invoice, at the following renewal, together with the plan price for the coming period. Each invoice therefore combines the coming period’s plan with the final charges of an earlier period. See your bill and disputes for billing-period details.
Included results credit
Section titled “Included results credit”Your plan includes a results credit each billing period: $10 on Starter, $20 on Growth, $40 on Scale. It is taken off your result fees first. It does not reduce the plan price, extra conversations or extra automation runs.
For example, on Starter, 20 solved conversations are 20 × $0.99 = $19.80 in result fees. The $10 credit leaves $9.80 to pay, plus the $59 plan price.
The usage cap
Section titled “The usage cap”You can set a usage cap. It is optional. The cap is the most you will spend beyond your plan price in a billing period, across your whole usage bill: result fees (after the credit), extra conversations and extra automation runs.
You receive an email at 80% of the cap and at 100%, and an in-app notice at 100%. Set or change the cap on the Statements tab, in Usage cap. See your bill and disputes.
When you reach the cap, anything that would add to your bill stops for the rest of the billing period:
- omotto stops replying. A conversation in progress stops at the customer’s next message. A reply that is already being written is still sent.
- Customer messages still reach the inbox for your team. Nothing is lost.
- Automations and automatic messages, such as template messages and reminders, keep running while you are still within your plan’s included automation runs (for example, up to 5,000 on Growth). They pause at the first run that would be billed.
- Messages that record or confirm a customer’s request to stop receiving messages are still handled and sent.
- Nothing more is charged. Results above the cap are listed as beyond your cap and are not charged.
- An answer that was waiting to be sent, for example from an Expert, is held and sent when omotto turns back on.
If you raise or remove the cap, omotto and automations turn back on immediately. The cap also starts fresh when the next billing period begins. With no cap, omotto never stops, and extra usage is billed per your plan.
Setting the cap to $0 pauses omotto for the whole period.
Which plan fits?
Section titled “Which plan fits?”Choose by expected conversation volume and the setup you need, not by looking for a smaller plan plus extra-conversation charges. The pricing calculator on omotto.ai works the same way: you enter your volume and setup and it suggests a plan.
- Estimate conversations in a full billing period.
- Check how many lines and team members you need, and whether you need custom business-system connections or Zapier, Make or n8n.
- Choose the smallest plan that fits that setup and includes enough conversations: Starter up to 300, Growth up to 1,000, or Scale up to 3,000.
- Choose Scale if your estimate is above 3,000 conversations.
For example, 350 conversations points to Growth, not Starter plus extra conversations. A business with only 200 conversations but five connected lines also needs at least Growth.
How to sign up now
Section titled “How to sign up now”Self-serve sign-up is temporarily Coming soon. To sign up, choose your plan on the omotto.ai pricing page. This opens the site chat with a ready message, “I wanna sign up for the Starter plan” (or Growth, or Scale). Send it, and the omotto team sets up your plan. You can also type that message yourself. The same applies to upgrading to a larger plan.
What happens when…
Section titled “What happens when…”A sale appears after the conversation finishes
Section titled “A sale appears after the conversation finishes”An eligible order within the 7-day window can raise the conversation’s result to a sale. It still has only one result fee.
You disagree with a result
Section titled “You disagree with a result”We hold the fee and check within 2 business days. See your bill and disputes for what happens if a dispute is accepted.
Troubleshooting
Section titled “Troubleshooting”- “Free” but the bill is not zero: no result fee does not remove the monthly plan price or extra-conversation and automation-run charges.
- Not sure which plan fits: use the volume steps above. Contact support if your setup does not fit the listed plans.
- A result looks wrong: explain what you disagree with in your own words. See disputes.
